1 dead after crash in Kings County

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are looking for clues in a deadly crash in Kings County. It happened just before 4 a.m. Wednesday on 16th Avenue south of Houston Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol says the victim was lying in the roadway when he was hit. At this point, it is unclear if the victim was dead prior to the crash.

The driver stayed at the scene and is not facing charges for the incident.
