1 injured in Tipton shooting

FRESNO, Calif. -- Authorities in the South Valley are looking for the gunman in a shooting that sent a young victim to the hospital.
It happened around 10:20 p.m. Monday in the area of Lerda Avenue in Tipton. It's unclear exactly what happened, but authorities believe someone either walked or drove up to the young victim and started shooting. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, was hit once and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are looking for a suspect and a motive in the shooting.
