100,000 bottles of water donated to East Porterville residents

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Bottled water is being distributed in East Porterville after a huge donation to the community that has been devastated by the drought.

Assemblyman Devon Mathis helped secure a donation of 100-thousand bottles of water from several different water companies. The water was taken to Iglesias Emmanuel Church in East Porterville on Monday. It is available for families who are desperate for drinking water.

More than one-thousand wells have gone dry in Tulare County. Most have been in East Porterville.
