Make-A-Wish kicks off Believe campaign in the Central Valley
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Central Valley chapter of Make-A-Wish has kicked off its annual Believe campaign.
From now through Christmas Eve Make-A-Wish is encouraging Valley children to drop off their letters to Santa at any Macy's location. For every letter received the retailer will donate one dollar to Make-A-Wish to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Chief Jerry Dyer and members of the Fresno State lacrosse team were there for Thursday's kickoff event along with some former Wish Kids.
This campaign has helped raise almost $13-million to the Make-A-Wish organization.
Anyone interested in submitting a letter to Santa for this campaign should drop their letters off to participating Macy's locations in the designated red letterboxes.
