A daughter of the Fresno couple killed while delivering newspapers this weekend is hoping to spread one message: STOP DRINKING AND DRIVING.

Sarah Casas wrote "My life is never going be the same without my parents!!!! God, please heal myself and siblings."

She sent us a family photo, which is the last they all took together. Sarah's parents, Daniel and Ramona Mendez were delivering papers Saturday morning when a suspected drunk driver smashed into their car.

"Please don't drink and drive you're going to hurt yourself or innocent people that don't deserve to be injured or killed. It's not worth spending your life in prison and not seeing your family. Please get Uber or Lyft or ask one of your family members to come get you when you're under the influence of alcohol or any substances! At the moment right now I still can't believe it's real. We're still waiting for our parents' text in the morning telling us good morning, but we're never going to get that no more. We're trying to take one day at a time and stay strong for a little brother that I have to take care of for the rest of my life."
