FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in an alley outside a market in Southwest Fresno.
The shooting happened near the A&M Market on Whitesbridge and Thorne avenues. Officials say they responded to a ShotSpotter call in the area. When they arrived they found a small blood trail.
Officers later got a call that a 22-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the lower leg had taken himself to Community Regional Medical Center. His injury is non-life threatening.
Police believe the shooting may be gang-related.
