FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering from a head wound after an argument turned into an assault in the Pinedale area of Northwest Fresno. It happened just after 11:30 Thursday night at Pinedale and College Avenues.

Police said a man and a woman got into an argument while in an RV. Moments later, the man was cut in the head. The woman started to hyperventilate and had a hard time getting out of the RV.

Lt. Jennifer Horsford of the Fresno Police said, "We're still trying to determine the exact circumstances of the disturbance. It took us a while to get her out of the RV due to a dog that was also in the vehicle not letting her out."

Police said the two are acquaintances.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be okay.

No firearms were involved in the incident and at last report, there were no arrests in this case.
