Man hospitalized after being stabbed in Visalia

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed twice in Visalia.

The incident happened near Laurel Avenue and Garden Street around 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening.

The man was stabbed in the stomach and in his arm.

Visalia police officers say they have taken 22-year-old Stephen Guillen into custody in connection to the stabbing.

He has been booked on several charges including attempted murder.
