FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno couple is facing charges after being arrested for an armed robbery at a Rite Aid in Southwest Fresno.

Police took 27-year-old Jose Munoz and 30-year-old Blanca Quintero into custody on January 16th at two different apartments. They're on East Church Avenue near Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.

It was one day earlier the couple, with their one-year-old daughter, that police said they robbed the Rite Aid on Fresno Street near B Street. As they were leaving the store, security guards confronted them and Munoz pulled out this handgun before fleeing in their vehicle.

Officers were able to track down the vehicle and the suspects to make an arrest.

Both Munoz and Quintero face charges of armed robbery.

Munoz is also facing several other charges.
