Miranda Lambert Concert

Country mega-star Miranda Lambert will rock the Save Mart Center Friday night. She is bringing two friends along with her for the show. California native Jon Pardi and Luci Silvas are her opening acts. Tickets are still available, prices start at $43 dollars. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Oscar-nominated films at Tower Theatre

Fresno Film Works is hosting an event Friday and Saturday night, showcasing five different films all up for an academy award next month. There are two different show times for each day. General admission tickets are $10 and a special $15 double-feature ticket is available for any two programs.

Maya Cinemas

Maya Cinemas is kicking their Black history on Saturday by showing the movie '42 the Jackie Robinson Story". This won't be the only inspiring movie they will show. The following weekends they will show two more movies. Admission is free, while supplies last.

Wine and Chocolate Lovers Weekend

Fresno County wineries are teaming up for the annual Wine and Chocolate Lovers Weekend. The purchase of one ticket gets visitors to 17 different tasting locations. Most locations will provide live music and chocolate treats to pair with the wine they are pouring. Tickets are $10 each and are available the day of. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. both days. Guests are encouraged to bring their own glasses, but also have the option of buying them at any of the participating wineries. If you are closer to Madera County there is also a Wine and Chocolate event for you. Eight different wineries participating locations will have live music and chocolate pairing as well as food. Tickets are $30.

Mardi Gras at Tower District

The Tower District is turning into the big easy Sunday afternoon. The annual Mardi Gras Parade begins at one at 1 p.m. This year's theme is 'Welcome to Toon Town'. It is a family-friendly event that's turned the tower green and purple every year since 1997.Families are invited to attend for free and can enjoy southern cooking at some tower restaurants, afterward.

Home and Spring Fest Visalia Convention Center

The 25th annual Visalia Home and Patio Spring Fest run all weekend long at the Visalia Convention Center. They showcase everything from storage solutions to remodeling to home furnishings and lighting. General admission is $8.
