Extra officers planned at 2 FUSD high schools as precaution after possible social media threat

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- UPDATE:

Fresno Police are investigating a photo circulating on social media, warning students at Edison and Sunnyside High School to not go to school.

Officers are currently investigating the origin, but believe the image of the firearm is an existing photo on the internet that someone added writing to.

There will be an increased presence of officers at both schools tomorrow. Fresno Unified is also aware and working with police.
