FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officers believe the shooter was targeting a house down the road. They opened fire around 9:15 p.m. Friday night.

There are bullet holes scattered on the front of the house. Inside, a 13-year-old girl was hit in the leg. There were several other adults there at the time but nobody else was injured.

Officers are still on the street at this hour, talking to witnesses. Some of them described hearing a car take off around the time of the shooting, police are hoping to get some more details.

That girl expected to survive and is being tested at the hospital.

Police say it's too early to tell if the house was a target or if this shooting was gang-related.
