FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Edmundo Neria is in shock after he says an unknown, man robbed him at gunpoint while hanging out with a friend.

Neria says the suspect took his keys and took off with his light blue 1992 GMC Sierra pickup truck. With no phone to call the police, the 26-year-old started running down the street, asking people nearby for help.

Minutes after our news team got off Highway 180 at the Fulton and Van Ness exit, heading to a story down the road, they were stopped by Neria running towards their news vehicle, frantically asking for help.

After giving him a phone to call 911, Fresno police showed up and within an hour, officers found his truck, a truck Neria is glad to have back.
