13 year old girl recovering after drive by shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Family members have given us these photos of 13-year-old Nena Ouch, who is recovering in the hospital after being shot Saturday in Southeast Fresno.

Her mom says the bullet is currently lodged near her collar-bone. Loved ones say she caught a fever earlier Sunday but is doing a lot better.

In the meantime, investigators are still searching for the suspect.

Fresno Unified School District also tells Action News school counselors will be on site at Tioga Middle School Monday for Nina's classmates.

The eight-grader expected to spend the next two weeks in the hospital.
