Police investigating crash involving a train and a vehicle in Southeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police officers are investigating an incident involving a train and a vehicle in Southeast Fresno. It happened near Golden State Boulevard and North Avenue just after four Wednesday morning.

The driver of the vehicle went through an area that was closed for railroad maintenance before colliding into the train. It's not clear if the train was moving during the collision or if anyone was injured.

The accident was off the main road and will not affect traffic.
