Police investigating a shooting in Selma

SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A person was shot in Selma late Thursday night and now officers are looking for any clues as to who the shooter may be.

Selma Police say they responded to the corner of Sheridan and Knowles where they found a victim that has been shot several times.

That person has been taken to the hospital, but we don't yet know their condition.

Now investigators are closely looking in the surrounding area for any evidence the shooter may have left behind.
