Community members celebrate Juneteenth in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This is one of several celebrations that are taking place this weekend to commemorate the holiday.

The event tonight has live music, food and several vendors at Frank H Ball Park.

Juneteenth celebrates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans.

It is not too late to join in on the festivities, the event will go until 8 p.m.
