Man in custody in connection to stabbing in Strathmore

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sheriff's deputies say 23-year-old Raul Figueroa stabbed a man several times near Wallace Road and Avenue 194 Saturday night.

The victim of the stabbing was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Investigators are now working to determine the motive for the stabbing.

Figueroa is now in custody charged with attempted homicide.
