Stolen car found submerged in Southwest Fresno canal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Rescue crews are working to retrieve a car found submerged underwater at a canal in Southwest Fresno.

Fire officials said they found the vehicle in the area of Hughes and Nielsen. No one was found in the car.

Authorities said the vehicle was reported stolen 30 minutes before they found it in the canal.
