Guests forced to evacuate SE Fresno motel after fire breaks out in bathroom

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The flames sparked around 12:30 p.m. at the Gables Motel near Church Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

Heavy smoke was seen coming out of the bathroom, forcing guests to quickly evacuate.

Eight units responded to the fire and quickly put out the flames.

No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
