FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno Police officer is recovering after being hit by a car. Two uniformed bicycle officers responded to Fern and Wishon in the Tower District just after 9:30 p.m. on Friday. They said two men who were arguing got into a car with a female driver. The suspects all refused to comply with orders, and the woman drove away, hitting the officer and damaging his bike.

Authorities say 44-year-old Enedia Romandia then led them on a pursuit that finally ended at Van Ness and McKinley. She was arrested on several charges, including drunk driving and felony assault.

Both men in the car were also taken into custody on other charges. The officer was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
