FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are searching for two men accused of trying to kidnap a teenage girl in Oakhurst. It happened near the High Sierra RV Park off Highway 41 on Thursday night, and now the Madera County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help.

Deputies say the girl had stopped to take pictures of the sunset, when two men rushed her from an area where they were hiding. One man grabbed her by the arm and lifted her off the ground, but the teen managed to kick him and get away.

Both suspects are described as white men dressed in all black clothing, who are about 6 feet tall. One has a heavy, muscular build and a Mohawk-style haircut. The other has a smaller build.

At this point, investigators do not believe this case is related to an attempted kidnapping in the Madera Ranchos on Tuesday night.

Anyone with information on either of these cases is asked to contact the Madera County Sheriff's Office at (559) 675-7770.
