Authorities investigate Earlimart shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The victim drove to a home and told family members he had been shot near a local gas station.

Tulare County deputies said they responded to a house on Bent Ranch Street near Muscat Road in Earlimart after reports that a man had been shot. Family members said the victim drove to the home and said he had been shot near a gas station. The family members they took the victim to Delano Hospital.

The man was later taken to by ambulance to Kern Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.

Deputies later found shell casings on State Street near Armstrong Avenue in Earlimart.

Investigators do not have a motive for the attack and no suspects have been identified.
