Merced police look for motive in shooting that injured man

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after a shooting in Merced. It happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday near Martin Luther King Jr. Way and West 16th Street.

A man in his 30s was found with a gunshot wound. The victim was flown to a Modesto-area hospital and is expected to be OK.

No arrests have been made, and Merced police are working on figuring out a motive.
