FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Wednesday is "Tax Day" the IRS deadline to file your 2014 tax returns. If you need last minute help you are in luck.

The "VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE" program or VITA -- will provide services to Tulare County families with a household income of $52,000 or less.

Tax returns will be prepared on a first-come, first-served basis. Certified volunteers are trained to file taxes for families and help them identify tax credits for which they are eligible.

The extended day of VITA services runs from 9am to 3pm Wednesday, at CSET'S main office in Visalia. It's located at 312 Northwest 3rd Avenue. And for Fresno County residents, the UNITED WAY is offering free help. Their offices are located at 4949 East Kings Canyon Road in Fresno.

Please visit www.cset.org/vita or call the VITA information hotline at (559) 741-4640 for additional information and a list of required documents.
