FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cal Fire says several fires that burned in Fresno County are 100 percent contained. It's believed they were all started by lightning strikes that began Friday night.

At one point Saturday morning, crews battled nine separate fires that burned about 45 acres in Prather and Auberry -- east of Millerton Lake. A few homes and horses in the Auberry area were threatened by the fast-moving flames, but neighbors jumped in to help save property, while air tankers dropped retardant over the area.

Parts of the high Sierra are also seeing more thunder and lightning Saturday evening.
