Suspected burglar caught in Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. -- Visalia police say they caught a burglar who tried to run from the victim's home.

Officers arrested 25-year-old Christopher Ross around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. They initially went to the area of Church and Murray for reports of a prowler. That's when they heard a female scream for help from inside a house.

Police say the suspect ran out the back and refused to stop, but they later caught him hiding in some shrubs. Ross was booked into jail for burglary and resisting arrest.
