Armed robber holds up Merced Me-N-Ed's Pizza restaurant

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police in the North Valley are investigating an armed robbery at a popular pizza restaurant. It happened at the Me-N-Ed's on G Street near Yosemite Avenue in North Merced just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Merced police say a male suspect walked in wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a bandana covering his face. He showed a handgun and told the employees to give him all the money in their register.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Detectives are now working to identify him.
