Big rig hits cow before crashing into home in Tulare County
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that sent a big rig into a home south of Dinuba.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that sent a big rig into a home south of Dinuba.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. Monday on Avenue 384 near Road 96 in Tulare County. Investigators say it appears the big rig driver hit a cow in the roadway, lost control, and careened into the home.

The truck driver had minor injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment. No one inside the home was injured. The cow was killed by the impact.
