MODESTO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Brittany Navarra has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2008 murder of 18-year-old Krista Pike. Navarra was found guilty of first-degree murder last year. She was 16 at the time of the crime.

Prosecutors say Navarra convinced Dustin Gran to carry out the killing, so she could be with Pike's fiance. Last year, Gran was convicted of the murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
