LEMOORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Brothers from Lemoore are under arrest accused of holding their stepfather hostage for five days. Lemoore Police said Steven and Michael Franco kept the 80-year-old from leaving his house.

Investigators said the brothers assaulted him, threatened him, and took his phone away-- never ever letting him out of their sight.

Police said they let him leave the house Monday for a doctor's appointment and he went straight to the police department for help.

The Franco brothers face multiple charges including kidnapping, elder abuse, and criminal threats.
