Car crashes into apartment complex pool in Clovis

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Clovis Police said a woman hit the gas instead of the brake, causing her car to plunge into the swimming pool.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. Sunday at the Chateau Monterey apartments near Willow Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue in Clovis. Police said a woman in her thirties hit the gas instead of the brake -- sending the car into the apartment complex pool.

The woman made it out of the car safety. There was minor damage to the pool and the car was pulled out overnight.
