Car wraps around pole in Northeast Fresno crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering after his car wrapped around a pole in Northeast Fresno on Thursday.

Fresno police say the Mustang was traveling westbound on Ashlan Avenue when it hit another car turning on Barton Avenue. The Mustang spun out of control, then hit the pole head-on.

Amazingly, the driver of the Mustang survived and is recovering at the hospital. The other driver only suffered minor injuries.

Police are not sure if alcohol or drugs were involved.
