That mudslide just north of fort tejon has forced the shutdown of interstate 5 and a number of drivers are waiting to be rescued.

A mudslide just north of Fort Tejon forced the shutdown of Interstate 5 and a number of drivers are waiting to be rescued.

Mud flow and heavy water streams could be seen in areas north of Castaic. Cellphone video from one of the stalled cars shows several stranded vehicles.

Helicopters are also searching the area for anyone who might need to be rescued.

Flash-flood warnings remain in effect for parts of Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.

There may be more wet weather on the way.
