FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several residents got quite a surprise Sunday morning when a hot air balloon landed in their Northwest Fresno neighborhood.

An ABC30 Insider captured video of the balloon sitting in the middle of the street at Poplar and Lexington. It landed perfectly between the trees, and neighbors say no one was injured. It's not clear exactly why the balloon touched down there.

The balloon appears to have come from the Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly that's part of the annual ClovisFest. Several of them launched from the Clovis Rodeo grounds for a second straight morning. The event attracts tens of thousands of people each year. It wrapped up Sunday evening.
