Driver killed in crash on Highway 180 in East Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash along Highway 180 in East Central Fresno. It happened around 10:40 a.m. Monday on the 180 near Fowler Avenue.

Investigators say a pickup truck was headed east on the highway when a woman driving a Honda Accord lost control of her car and traveled across the median. The car was then broadsided by the pickup.

The woman in the Honda died. She has not yet been identified.

The person in the truck is said to be OK.
