FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A driver may face DUI charges after slamming his car into a local school Sunday.

The crash happened at Dakota and Pleasant around two Sunday afternoon. Fresno police said the driver plowed through a fence before hitting Dewolf High School.

The roads were wet at the time, but investigators believe the man was also under the influence. They say it's fortunate no one was hurt. "This is the second DUI we've had today in the northwest district. We had another one at Herndon and Milburn. So we want to tell everyone, do not drink and drive, it's way too dangerous," said Sgt. Greg Noll, Fresno Police Department.

Police are still assessing the damage to the campus. They called Fresno Unified staff members to the scene to make sure the school was properly secured after the crash.
