Elderly man hit by 2 cars in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An elderly man in recovering in the hospital after he was hit crossing the street in Northwest Fresno on Tuesday.

Authorities say a driver was in the area of Nees and Ingram around five last night, when he hit the 86-year-old victim. They say the man rolled onto the hood of the car before landing back on the roadway. That's when authorities say he was hit again by another driver -- who left the scene. That driver is now wanted for felony hit and run.

The victim, whose name has not been released, is now in critical condition at Community Regional Medical Center.
