Fight ends after a woman was hit by a van in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Southbound Cedar Avenue is closed at Nevada Avenue after a woman was hit by a van while fighting in the street in Central Fresno.

Shortly after 8 o'clock three females got into a fight in the middle of the street. Police say one car swerved to avoid them, but a van that didn't see them in time hit one of them.

Authorities say the fight appeared to be two girls against one. One of the females ran away after the accident. No word on what caused the fight or if it was gang related.

No arrests have been made.
