VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Twelve people were displaced after two homes caught fire in Visalia. The fire began Sunday at a home on Oak Park Street near Ferguson Avenue. When firefighters arrived, flames were already spreading to the second home. Everyone survived, except for a family dog found in one of the homes.
It took crews about 45 minutes to extinguish the flames. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. Property loss between the two houses stands at about $180,000.
