Fresno airport officials monitoring Brussels attack closely
The airport is open and flights in and out are going on as normal.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno-Yosemite International Airport is open and flights in and out are going on as normal.

Federal officials and airport officials say they're monitoring the situation closely, and will implement any additional security procedures if they feel they need to.

They also say they're in close contact with the Department of Homeland Security, and will listen to their advice and implement any security methods they recommend. If any of those additional security measures happen, airport officials say they may be obvious to the public, or they may not be seen at all. In any case, those here are advising passengers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. That's part of the department of homeland security's "see something, say something" campaign.
