Fresno Police and local businesses give special Christmas gift to residents

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cornerstone Church, the Fresno Police Department and several local businesses came together Saturday morning to offer the families a full on Christmas morning.

Nearly 1,000 adults and kids received a hearty Christmas breakfast with all the fixings. The children got a chance to meet with several Christmas characters, including Santa Claus. And, finally, they got to open their gifts. "To see the smiles on those kids faces," Pastor Jim Franklin said. "But not just the kids, but on those parents faces to know that their child is going to have a great Christmas."

The giving didn't stop there. All families left with boxes of food and turkey, compliments of All Access Automotive.
