Fresno Police investigate a stabbing in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The incident happened at Griffith Way and Channing Avenue, at the Hunter apartment complex near Ashlan and West.

Police say the victim was stabbed the in torso just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with potentially life threatening injuries.

"We received a call of a victim of a stabbing at this location. Upon arrival officers found one male victim, approximately 30 years old who had several stab wounds to his upper body." said Tony Bustos, Fresno Police Department.
