Gang fight injures three at Merced County Jail

Several inmates at the Merced County Jail are recovering after a fight broke out inside the facility.

The brawl happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Patrol deputies were called in to help stop the fight between three gang members.

They were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment and are expected to recover from their injuries.

No deputies were hurt.
