Garbage truck slams into fire hydrant in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Some drivers in Central Fresno had to navigate a flooded intersection on Monday.

Fresno police say a garbage truck hit a fire hydrant at Fresno Street and Belmont Avenue, sending water everywhere. It's not known what caused the driver to lose control.

No one was injured, and crews eventually turned the water off at the fire hydrant.
