Grass fire snarls traffic on Highway 41 near O'Neals in Madera County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Traffic is getting back to normal on Highway 41 near the Madera County community of O'Neals after a grass fire caused backups in both directions Tuesday afternoon.

The delays were reported on the highway between North Fork Road and Yosemite Springs Parkway for a few hours. At one point, traffic was completely stopped.

Crews have since contained the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
