FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An armed robber held up a Subway restaurant in Northwest Fresno right after it opened Friday morning.
Fresno police say the gunman went into the Subway at Marks and Herndon avenues shortly after 9 a.m., pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect took off in a white four-door Toyota. He was last seen traveling east on Alluvial Avenue.
Police describe the suspect as white or Hispanic, 5'7" tall and about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark gray basketball shorts.
