THREE ROCKS, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than 1,000 marijuana plants were ripped out at a western Fresno County property on Friday.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Department found about 1,500 pot plants growing in 10 greenhouses near Derrick and Clarkson avenues in Three Rocks. The street value of the marijuana is estimated at up to $4.5 million.

No one was at home at the time. Investigators say the property was designed to look like a normal farm with caged roosters.

The suspects could face a fine of up to $2 million.
