Husband and wife killed and 5-year-old injured in head on collision in Kingsburg

KINGSBURG, Calif. (KFSN) -- A husband and wife are dead and a 5-year-old child is suffering from major head injuries after being involved in a head-on-collision in Kingsburg Thursday.

It happened on Clarkson Avenue near Bethel Avenue.

Police said a white truck was traveling westbound on Clarkson when it crossed over the median and hit a Honda Civic head on. The civic was holding five people including the couple and the child.

The two other people in the car suffered minor injuries.

The driver was alone in the truck and suffered a broken leg.

Officers are investigating the cause.
