Los Banos man shot and killed

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police found the 20-year-old victim on Ward Road near Pacheco Boulevard around 10 p.m. Tuesday night. He was suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body and arm.

First responders performed CPR, but he died at the hospital. Authorities say they also received a call of shots fired at a house nearby around the same time.

"We're investigating whether those two cases are tied together, it appears that they are, but we haven't confirmed that at this point," said Chief Gary Brizzee, Los Banos Police Department.

The victim's name has not been released. Detectives are still trying to get information on the gunman.
